I just stayed at Bella Vista Hotel & Studios, and I have to say, this place is special. It’s family run, and from the second I walked up they intercepted me and my pile of luggage to help. They made me feel like welcomed family, not just a guest passing through. As a solo female traveler, that kind of warmth means even more, it made the whole trip feel welcoming, safe and personal from day one.
I have to give a huge shoutout to Ioanna. She was incredible from start to finish. Her local recommendations were spot on, she pointed me toward little tavernas, beached and sites I never would have found on my own, and you could just tell she genuinely cares about making sure every guest has a great time. Traveling alone, having someone look out for you like that made a real difference.
The breakfast is worth the trip. Everything was local and homemade, right down to the marmalade, which is made with fruit from the family property and tastes like nothing you’d get at a regular hotel. You can tell this family puts real love into what they serve.
My room was well appointed and comfortable, and the bed was seriously one of the best I’ve slept in while traveling. After a full day of exploring Corfu on my own, that mattered a lot.
If you’re a solo traveler, or really anyone looking for real hospitality, great food, and a family that treats you like their own, stay at Bella Vista Hotel & Studios. And definitely ask for Ioanna- she’s the best!
We spent a wonderful four days at this hotel. We had lovely, hospitable hosts who went above and beyond to help us, providing even more useful information than we asked for. Breakfast was a delightful experience with something new every morning; I was especially impressed by the homemade jam made from lemons grown right in the garden. Joana helped us with recommendations on where to go and what to see. We truly felt wonderful and would love to come back again!

It was an apartment style hotel which we really liked, found it more peaceful than a resort would have been. The rooms were really clean and cleaned daily.
The trip was for my birthday and when we arrived back to our room after a walk we were surprised to find a birthday card and a cake waiting for me, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture!

Cute boutique hotel across the street from the beach and plenty of local shops/restaurants within walking distance. Conveniently located right on the Corfu bus line to/from Old Town/Airport area. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The area was very safe and some of the restaurants/bars nearby were opened to at least 1-2:30 am. Overall, it was a great stay the only thing I would suggest is having a bottle opener for guest to open their wine/beer.
We had a wonderful stay at Bella Vista and couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. The owners were incredibly friendly, helpful and always happy to offer advice about the local area.
Our room was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach, restaurants and the bus stop, making it easy to explore Corfu Town and the rest of the island.
